At the core of their shaping process is CNC technology, which enables precise cuts and consistent shaping across every board model. But technology is only the beginning. Each board is brought to life through a collaborative process with expert finish shapers and glassers, ensuring every curve, rail, and contour is finely tuned by hand.
Chris’s meticulous attention to detail is evident in his close monitoring of the manufacturing process. Working alongside the shapers and glassers finishing each board, he ensures they meet Kona’s high standards of durability, performance, and craftsmanship.
